In
the 1950s in Predazzo the Gams was opened as a Motel to provide
refreshment to travelers in a period in which the economy was
slowly starting to spread across the region. With the development
of tourism economy especially in Val di Fiemme, the structure was
renovated and transformed into a restaurant / pizzeria. For a few
decades later the structure was managed by several people for
rent, until, in the 90s, the Redolf family, owner of the
property, decided to take over the management and entrust it to
the young people of the family.
In 2002 the structure underwent an important renovation that transformed it into a well-kept and traditional structure characterized by the presence of wood and stone, with intimate and well-kept rooms.
Today, if you come to visit us, you will find the familiar environment of the alpine huts, with a proposal of traditional, home-made but cured cuisine, with the use of ingredients from our land (mushrooms, cheeses etc ..), a wide range of craft beers and quality wines as well as our pizzas mixed with stone-ground flour and cooked in a wood oven.
